Why I made ReceiptCam
I wanted to handle receipts without moving them to a computer.
I used to photograph receipts, move the photos to my computer and crop them one by one. I made ReceiptCam so I could do this on my phone and send the PDFs to my accountant.
How to use ReceiptCam
Check
The app reads the text from the receipt and suggests details such as the merchant and total. Check them and correct any mistakes.
Save or send
Save the receipt to the folder chosen in settings. If emailing your accountant is enabled, the app opens a draft with the receipt attached.

Email your accountant
Save the recipient and default message in settings. ReceiptCam opens an email draft with the PDFs attached. You send it yourself.
Choose a folder
Select a compatible folder on your device or connect OneDrive. iPhone and iPad also support iCloud Drive through Files.
Warranty mode
Save personal warranty receipts, product name, purchase date, serial number and warranty or return deadline.
Search and share receipts
Search saved receipts, select several at once or create a PDF of a month’s receipts or a warranty receipt.
Duplicate warnings
ReceiptCam warns you when a receipt appears to have been saved already.
Receipts on your device
Receipt text is read on your device. Saved receipts are not sent to an Arkeasi receipt server.
Choose where receipts are saved
Choose a folder in settings. Approved receipts are saved there without asking you to choose again each time. On iPhone and iPad, use Files or iCloud Drive. On Android, use a compatible location in the system folder picker. Cloud folder support depends on the service. For OneDrive on either platform, sign in through ReceiptCam and select a folder.
Keep warranty receipts separate
Personal mode keeps warranty receipts separate from company receipts. Check the product name, purchase date and warranty period before saving. The app shows the time remaining based on the saved details and can remind you before a warranty or return period ends.

Frequently asked questions
Does ReceiptCam send email automatically?
No. It prepares a draft with the files attached. You review it and press Send in your chosen mail app.
Can I use Google Drive or Dropbox?
Folder selection depends on the service and your device. On iPhone and iPad, install the service’s app, sign in and enable it in Files. On Android, the service must support the system folder picker. Not every service supports this; an unavailable location may appear greyed out. You can also export receipts through your device’s share menu.
Does the app need an account?
No Arkeasi or ReceiptCam account is needed. OneDrive sign-in is only needed if you choose that destination.
Where are receipts stored?
The in-app library is stored locally on your device. Copies only go to destinations you choose. Back up important documents separately.
Which devices does ReceiptCam work on?
ReceiptCam is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and on Google Play for Android phones and tablets, including compatible Samsung Galaxy devices. It requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later, or Android 7 or later. Check your device’s compatibility in the store before buying.
